Several of the managers and staff in Alpha College have been working with us for more than 10 years and a number of others between 5 and 10 years. They are committed to providing the best possible service to our students and to ongoing improvement of the services we offer.
On the academic staff in Alpha there is an EAQUALS inspector; an IELTS, Cambridge and TIE examiner, ELT teacher trainers as well as presenters on various courses and at conferences.
All our teachers have a primary degree and an approved ELT qualification. Many of them have considerably more qualifications and come from a variety of different backgrounds which ensures a good range of interesting and dynamic approaches to teaching.
We ensure consistency of quality through a CPD (Continuous Professional Development) programme for our staff; through a weekly teachers meeting to review each class and through on-going support for our teachers. Our Academic Manager takes overall responsibility for our curriculum, syllabus, weekly class plans and in-service training and coaching. Alpha College is recognised by ACELS as an ELT training centre so our teacher trainers work with our teachers to ensure up-to-date teaching methodology
