These courses are developed specifically for Managers, Professional and Senior Technical People who need to enhance their Verbal Communication, Report Writing and Presentation Skills in English; who do not have time to take courses during the week and who have access to an airport with direct flights to Dublin.

This course has been developed in response to the demand from busy Executives, Managers, Technocrats and professional people for intensive tuition in English in an English-speaking environment that they can fit into their already crowded schedule which precludes them from attending courses during their working week.

To meet this requirement Alpha College of English provides, every weekend except Irish Public Holiday Weekends, and intensive course in Business English.

The course content is the same as that provided in our Executive English Programme.

The course is of great interest and value to participants who live or work near an airport offering direct flights to Dublin.

It will be run as follows:

Participants who speak English at the same level and who come from the same company, association, club or interest group arrive in Dublin on Friday afternoon or evening where they are met by Alpha College of English staff and accompanied to their hotel which will be adjacent to the College.

Two teachers will take the participants to dinner on Friday evening.

On Saturday there will be class for the group from 09.00 - 13.00 with a break from 10.50 - 11.10. The class teacher will take his or her group to lunch after which there will be class from 14.00 to 16.00.

At 16.00 the participants will have the option of resting in their hotel, taking an unaccompanied walking tour of Dublin or shopping.

At 19.00 two teachers will take the group to dinner after which the individuals in the group are free to go to the theatre, concert hall, cinema, an Irish pub, bowling or an evening walk through Dublin.

On Sunday there is class again from 09.00 to 13.00 with a break from 10.50 to 11.10 and lunch with the class teacher from 13.00 to 14.00.

On Sunday afternoon the group is accompanied to the airport by a member of staff of Alpha College of English to catch the flight home.

The programme is available to individuals and small groups of 2 to 5 participants.

Included in the price is tuition; materials; airport transfers; registration fee; dinner on Friday and Saturday; lunch on Saturday and Sunday; tea and coffee during the breaks.

Not included;
hotel accommodation, visits to theatre, cinema, concert hall, sports events or tours of Dublin.
