Alpha College of English in Dublin, Ireland

Alpha College provides a wide range of cultural activities every afternoon from Monday to Friday in July, August and September. We also arrange evening and Saturday excursions during these months.

During the rest of the year we offer excursions or visits on at least one afternoon per week depending on the time of year, on Saturdays and one evening per week.

Our excursions provide a unique opportunity for students to practise their English in authentic settings. Our guides are experienced and knowledgeable and know Dublin's most interesting places. This guide service is completely free of charge. Students may have to pay admission charges on some excursions. The average cost in such cases is € 3.50. When out-of-Dublin coach tours are organised students pay a fee to cover the cost of coach hire and any entrance charges required.

We also make available to students information on many more visits, excursions and sporting fixtures which they may enjoy on their own or with other students.

Videos are available for students in the afternoons and we have several "theme" parties during the year. Staff and students take part in a Christmas song concert on the last day of Christmas term.
