Giulia is an Italian student who came to Alpha College as part of a group on an English & Work Experience Programme. After she studied at Alpha for three weeks to improve her level of English, she did a work experience placement in an Irish Art Gallery: Urban Retreat Gallery. The exhibition, "A View of Tuscany", was held on 17th April in the presence of some prominent figures of the Italian community in Dublin as well as artists and journalists. Giulia was even interviewed by the Dublin Italian newspaper Periodico Degli Italiani e Amici Dell'Italia en Irlanda and her interview will be published in June. Here are some photos of Giulia's exhibition and her comments. |

My last visit to Alpha was the 9th of August. It was my second time. I decided to go back after staying there for three months last year and passing my civil servant examination thanks to the good level of English acquired there. For me Alpha is the best place for learning English, having a great time with everybody and visiting Ireland in your spare time. The school possesses really qualified teachers, they are kind and they are really helpful if any trouble occurs. Not only the school offers outdoor activities but also indoor activities such as watching films, playing games etc and believe me, they are really fun. When I stayed there I had the chance to meet lots of people from all around the world and I will never forget them because the time I spent there was the best of my life. |
