We recently hosted a very enjoyable evening for our Alpha College host families. The evening started with a wonderful cookery demonstration by a professional demonstrator and while the food was cooking Jean Paul introduced some quizzes and discussions on various intercultural issues.
Families divided into small groups and helped along by Mary, Ciara and
Marianne there was lots of friendly rivalry, sharing of experiences and
ideas and plenty of laughter. At the end of the evening we all tasted
the various dishes which had been prepared. It was impossible to
decide which dish was best so we all had a little of everything! We are
already looking forward to the next Alpha College host family evening!
