Newsflashes Host Family Cookery Evening
Families divided into small groups and helped along by Mary, Ciara and Marianne there was lots of friendly rivalry, sharing of experiences and ideas and plenty of laughter. At the end of the evening we all tasted the various dishes which had been prepared. It was impossible to decide which dish was best so we all had a little of everything! We are already looking forward to the next Alpha College host family evening!
Just before they completed their programme in Alpha College of English, our Japanese students who were participating in the Vulcanus programme went to Government buildings where they met with Minister Seán Haughey, T.D., Minister of State at the Department of Education and Science. {gallery}newsflash/VulcanusGroup{/gallery}
