This Monday 5th May is a public holiday in Ireland! On this occasion, as usual on a public holiday, we will organise a free full-day excursion!!
Students meet at 11.30 in front of the Alpha Door. Departure is planned for 12:00, so don't be late!! Our guide will take you to the Glendalough Valley, in the beautiful Wicklow Mountains. For further information about Glendalough, visit the official Glendalough website .
Classes will resume on Tuesday at 9.00 am.
Glendalough Valley is set south of Dublin in the Wicklow Mountains, also called the Garden of Ireland. You will visit the ancient monastic site, which includes a Celtic Round Tower, St Kevins' Chapel and many carved Irish crosses in its cementary. You can then enjoy a walk through the forest to the magnificient Upper Lake, nested at the foot of the mountains. Enjoy!
