Alpha visit: 24th and 25th May
Last week Alpha College gave us the opportunity to discover a little part of the Dublin’s history by a Walking Tour, and Bray.
Walking Tour, 24TH MAY
We started our walking tour at school and our first destination was the Garden of Remembrance, it’s a memorial garden in Dublin dedicated to the memory of “all those who gave their lives in the cause of Irish Freedom. Then we went to the Spire in the city center, from these 121 meters, the Spire overlooks the city of Dublin. After that, we visited the beautiful Trinity College, established by royal charter from Queen Elizabeth to reinforce the legitimacy of British rule in Ireland. We finished the tour by walking round the very famous Temple Bar.
Bray, 25th MAY
On Saturday we went to the little seaside village of Bray. We walked along the coast and then we climbed Bray Head, 241 meters high! We could admire the beautiful views and enjoyed these wonderful moments! 🙂
